THE MARK OF THE BEAST
Revelation 13:16-18 " Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and porr, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man and his number 666."
ISLAM AND 666
Since we know that the Islamic Kingdom is the 7th Beast, and that Persia is the 8th Beast, where does 666 fit into all of this? I will quote from an Islamic website which sums most of it up.

Now, let us disect the passage in Revelation 13 ". . . to be marked on the right hand or the forehead. . ." In Muslim culture, the left hand is considered unclean. You do all the unmentionables with your left hand and do the mentionables with your right hand. A thief, in an Arab nation, will have their right hand chopped off, which to them is a terrible thing because they never use their left hand for honorable things.
Now, consider this. We are talking about a prophetic vision here. There are two symbolic things here; the hand and the head. They represent two very important things. The head represents our thinking, while the hands represent our working and doing. Let's put that together with applying the mark, which is the number of the Quran. If you take the mark of Islam, the numeric symbol of the Quran, upon your hands, it means that you've applied the teachings of the Quran in what you do. If you take the mark of Islam on your head, it means that you've applied the teachings of the Quran in the way that you think. So, you have changed the way you think and act and have adopted the Muslim faith. Taking the mark of the 8th Beast is adopting the Muslim faith. You become marked for Islam. It's as simple as that. This also dispels the myth that anyone who takes the mark can never repent, because many Muslims have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and have converted.

BUY OR SELL
It may be that we are branded or tatooed with the number 666 and if it is not visible to Muslims, then you will be denied from buying and selling because you don't have a visible mark. It may also be that being marked is being a visible Muslim who bows prostrate on a little carpet towards Mecca and prays 5 times a day and does all of the visible Muslim practices that says to the World, "I am a Muslim". To be a Muslim, you have to do a lot of visible Muslim practices, so, if you are not a Muslim, it will be very apparent to everyone, especially at the designated times.
If you are a visible practicing Muslim, which means that you have the mark, you will be able to live and exist, buy and sell with other visible practicing Muslims, if not, then you will be denied these things.

THE NUMBER OF A MAN. . . .
Let us cut to the chase here. Since we have established already that the Image of the Beast is the 12th Imam, the Muslim Mahdi, then wouldn't the Mahdi be considered the epitome of perfection? Since both the Mahdi and the number 666 are the epitome of perfection in Islam and its Quran, then they would both belong to each other. The number 666 belongs to the Mahdi of Islam. It's as simple as that!
CONCLUSION
This is my synopsis. When Iran, which is modern day Persia, causes the Islamic world to declare a global Jihad, you will be given a choice. You can either convert to Islam and change the way you think and act to the Quranic teachings or you can choose not to and be denied the necesities in life and even be beheaded as an infidel. It's as simple as that.
When the passage says, "Let him who has wisdom. . ." it means that you can't simply take the prophecy at face value like most of the American Church has. You have to dig deeper to find the meaning of the passage.
