Daniel 12:11 'From the Time the Daily Sacrifice ends until the Abomination of Desolation' 1290 Days/years. In 583 BC, Nebuchadnezzar caused the Daily Sacrifices to cease. In 688 AD, Islam began construction of the Dome of the Rock in the Gentile Court. In 707 AD, Islam began construction of the al-Aqsa Mosque in the Gentile Court of the Temple Mount. In 602 BC, Nebuchadnezzar's dream of the Statue of Kingdoms was interpreted by Daniel. From 583 BC until 707 AD is 1290 years. From 583 BC until 688 AD is 1,290 Lunar Years which are 1,271 Solar years. From 602 BC until 688 AD is 1,290 years.
Daniel 8 'How long will the events of the vision last. . . 2300 Evenings and Mornings' The first event in the vision is when Greece conqueres Persia. That happened in 333 BC. From 333 BC until 1967, the year that Jerusalem was restored to Israell which completed the return from exile, is 2300 years. What is also interesting is that from 352 BC, when the 2nd Temple was built, until 1948, the year that Israel was restored as a nation, is 2300 years.
Daniel 9 'The 1st Half of the Week.' Each day equals 360 years. Three and one half days equal 1,260 years. At the beginning of the week, when Daniel received the prophecy, King Darius of Media, one of the Beast Kingdoms, enforced a covenant ensuring the peace and safety of the Jews. Daniel 6:26 'I issue a decree that in all my royal dominion, people must tremble in fear before the God of Daniel. . . ' In the middle of the week, 1,260 years later, either solar or lunar years, Islam, the sixth Beast Kingdom, broke the Beast treaty and began construction of the Abomination of Desolation on a wing of the Temple (Gentile Court) which was the Dome of the Rock in 688 AD and the al-Aqsa Mosque in 707 AD. Also, something to note, from 572 BC, when Nebuchadnezzar took Damascus, until 688 AD there are 1,260 years.
Daniel 9, Revelation 11, 12, 13. 'The 2nd Half of the Week' In the Middle of the Week, the Dome of the Rock and the al-Aqsa Mosque begin construction. For 1,260 years, Islam had control of Israel. For 1,279 years or 42 Solar 'Months', Islam had control of the Holy City, Jerusalem. They laid waste to the Jews for 3 1/2 days of this Week of Exile. At the end of the 3 1/2 days or 1,260 years, Israel regained her status as the Lampstand and Olive Tree who stands in the Court of the Lord of All the Earth. When Israel retook their Homeland from the Muslims in 1948, around 6300 Jews died. In 1967, when Israel regained Jerusalem in the Six Day War, 700 Jews died. That brings the total to 7000, thus fulfilling the prophecy in Revelation 11.
